Celebrity Bachelor Parties

The Bachelor Parties of the Rich and Famous The world of celebrity bachelor parties is rapidly growing. The more famous someone becomes, the more they tend to throw extravagant and exclusive parties. Not only do they want to keep their buddies happy, but they also want to show them just how grateful they are for their friendship. After all, it's a lot easier to schmooze with your friends when you throw a fabulous party instead of sitting around in awkward silence. Celebrity bachelor parties are some of the most talked about events leading up to the big night. From red-carpet arrivals at nightclubs to private after-parties at ritzy hotel suites, here's a look at how some prominent celebrities partied before their wedding.

In the movies, a bachelor party for the rich and famous can be an epic endeavor. One of the most famous ones is the bachelor party for Nick Young's best friend in Crazy Rich Asians. It begins when a private helicopter brings the group to the cargo ship - where do you rent one of these?- where the stag takes place. This banging ship contains a basketball court, arcade, and dancefloor with a DJ booth and jacuzzis. There was even a casino, and the party just dripped with babes. A luxury event planner estimates that the party had a price tag of around $3 million.

One of the most interesting things about a celebrity bachelor party is that it may get planned by another celebrity! Before his marriage to Hailey Baldwin, Justin Bieber got Post Malone to plan his stag, but he didn't get a wild celebration, just a weekend of fishing and chilling with his pals. Needless to say, these shindigs can be chock full of movie stars, sports figures, and musicians. Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs hit a Vegas club with a few teammates before heading to a Big Sean concert. He got the ultimate VIP show when he was invited onto the stage. Before tying the knot with Jennifer Aniston, Justin Theroux had a bachelor party put together by Jimmy Kimmel. Kimmel's Sunday Night Football parties were legendary, so he was a perfect choice.

When you're famous, a restaurant may comp your expensive meal for you; that happened at Geoge Clooney dinner at an exclusive Italian place in Venice called Ristorante da Ivo. He did leave a tip and autographed a wine bottle for the owner.

Alan Levine of Maroon 5 was once People magazine's most beautiful man alive, so his bachelor party was as monumental as that achievement. The event started at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas has a 10,000-square-foot room called the Hardwood Suite available for high rollers. It contains a private basketball court with a locker room like on tv. In addition, there's a full bar, a hidden whisky room, and a pool table! 11 televisions are available, so you don't miss any game. Of course, there were the usual high-end steakhouse and nightclubs for a weekend of partying.

Taylor Lautner of the Twilight series went to Miami, one of the most popular bachelor party destinations. Naturally, they enjoyed the Florida sun on a boat cruise and then did the usual restaurant and club scene.

When Justin Timberlake had his bachelor party in 2012, he celebrated with a group of 25 friends in the bachelor party capital of the world, Las Vegas. After a weekend of partying and club hopping, they ended up in Cabo Labo, another popular bachelor party destination. This event was all done before he had even set a date for his marriage to Jessica Biel!

Some celebrities don't let the fact they are already married stop them from having a bachelor party. Joe Jonas had already married Sophie Tucker in an informal ceremony in Las Vegas. A more formal event was planned in France a month later, leading Jonas to have his stag in Ibiza, where he celebrated on - where else - a yacht.

As notable as the bach parties you hear about, are the ones that you don't. Prince Harry was a notorious party animal back in his day, leading to much speculation as to what his stag would be like. When asked about his party, Prince Harry said no comment. No gossip has leaked about the coveted event; the confidentiality agreements everyone indeed signed must be airtight.

Some celebrities opt for a coed bachelor/bachelorette party. Some celeb couples who had a joint bach party include Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker. They had a Romeo and Juliet party theme in which the room was decorated with candles galore, a large brass angel and a rose for every guest. There was a red heart-shaped cake that had Kravis 4Ever on it. The addition of red lighting gave it more of an Adams Family vibe.

Another joint bachelor/bachelorette party was held by Paris Hilton and Carter Reum. The came to Vegas in a private jet - of course! - and proceeding to turn the town red. They partied everywhere and naturally, it was Instagram worthy, complete with wardrobe changes and massive custom decorations.

In the end, the celebrity groom-to-be is just like you and me, so things don't always go off perfectly. Mario Lopez cheated on his fiancee at his bachelor party. How did that work out for him? The marriage was annulled in two weeks. Ryan Cabrera partied with his friends at Planet Hollywood Cancun - Cool! However, he kept calling his fiance, which was not the point of the fling before the ring. She told him to get back to his pals!

Most of us mere mortals will never get the opportunity to attend a celebrity bash, but how about a superstar crashing your party? Yes, that happened to a lucky groom who ate at a Charleston, SC, steakhouse while Bill Murray was there. They were rewarded with a stand-up routine from Murray, with advice like, "You know how funerals are not for the dead, they're for the living? Bachelor parties are not for the groom; they're for the uncommitted." Everyone will love the uninvited guest if he's as gracious and funny as Bill.
